And each day, he shares his skills and knowledge with riders of all ages and ability levels at his eponymous ranch, Gus Trent Horseback Riding. He leads leisurely trail rides throughout Alafia State Park and horseback riding classes, all of which begin with a lesson on the basics of riding, horsemanship, and caring for a horse. And for those who would like to experience life as a rancher, he teaches them how to work herds of cows on horseback while staring steely-eyed into the sunset.
