Learning Press' "Pathways to the Mind" is a highly structured remedial program that directly teaches the structure of the language to students who have been unable to learn with traditional methods. The program is appropriate for students grades K through 6.
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
Students will receive: 1) diagnostic assessment, 2) consultation with a highly trained teacher to discuss the results, 3) recommendations in regards to the findings. The students will be provided with an assessment and any materials needed to complete the testing.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Learning Press' "Pathways to the Mind" was designed to teach those students who need an alternative way to learning. As an educator with over 29 years experience, I have watched student's confidence grow when taught using their strengths. They have become proficient readers and students.
What do you love most about your job?
Education is our passion and our driven commitment to every student. It is extremely rewarding to see a smile on a student's face when they learn "I CAN."
