Licensed massage therapist Alexander Broder experienced the benefits of massage firsthand when he was only 13 years old. He had to undergo intensely draining chemotherapy sessions for his leukemia, and massage therapy helped him feel like himself mentally and physically. His experience inspired him to study the craft at the National Holistic Institute in San Jose, California, where he learned an array of modalities ranging from Swedish massage to Thai massage. Today, Alexander uses massage therapy to help clients much like it helped him, tailoring each session to the individual's specifics needs and condition.
