About Actor's Actor Studio & Workshop

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
George Elliott, studio instructor, studied under the legendary Sanford Meisner and Stella Adler in NYC. He has taught in NYC, LA, Sacramento and now teaches in NE Portland. Students of any level are welcome. We do monologues and scene work, contemporary and classic pieces, improv and acting.

Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
Students of any level of acting ability are welcome as each student will receive personalized goals and instruction based on their comfort, desire and ability. Students need not bring a thing other than themselves, and perhaps a notebook.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
George Elliott has been acting for decades. While he loves the art itself, he found a massive joy in teaching and sharing it with those eager to better their abilities. The energy found in a room full of passionate actors is truly indescribable!
