Too bad it is closing. Being across the street from Rogue Ale was probably not a good choice. The bar tender said they had been open for over two years and yet as avid beer drinkers we had never seen advertisement about them.

I ordered a gluten free pizza for my gluten intolerant daughter and I and a gluten one for the dh and son. The waitress placed the gluten one above the gluten free one, thus producing great risk for contamination. I switched them, but it still could have been bad. Secondly, although I appreciate them making a gluten free crust, a thick crust would be a nice option. Lastly, I was frustrated to find that the very next week after I finally got to try them, they are closing their doors permenantly.

we had a large pizza with kalamata olives, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes. MM's large pies are a bit undersized compared to others around town. The service was good, but the pizza was just OK.

We read a review to "ask for the thin crust," so we did. Though she said they really only have one type of crust, she asked for it to be on the thin side and it was. We got a cheese pizze (medium) and it was enough for two.

Spinach salad was great! We had the house pizza which was very good and a nice piece of key lime pie for $4. Service was good, an eclectic setting, nice pizza place.

Great Food. Our orders were slightly messed up, although we did ask for non-standard hoagie assemblies!

From Our Editors

The same love for pizza and beer that fueled three college students in 1974 transformed their lives as they expanded their business from one rundown building in Atlanta to 100 Mellow Mushroom restaurants across 15 states today. Each eatery owes its individual style to each location's being locally owned and operated, much like impressionist painters owed their individual style to their number of ears. In the kitchens, chefs assemble grilled and deli-style hoagies and bake calzones and pizzas in stone hearths using dough made with natural spring water. Though many of the restaurant's dishes have remained on the menu since its inception, the culinary crew frequently devises new, often gluten-free, dishes to keep senior-ranking pepperonis from becoming too powerful. Servers pair dishes with their location's own set of local brews, which fit into a collection of up to 100 microbrewed and imported beers on tap and in bottles. Craft brewers are also featured in regular beer events.
