The instructors at The Art of Movement, a former dancer and musician, believe that a strong mind, body, and spirit connection is a thing of beauty. They hope to help people achieve this connection through their boutique fitness studio's group classes.

Small-group and private Pilates classes build core strength and improve alignment with the Reformer and other equipment including mats and stability chairs. They also help participants learn to focus on their breathing. A variety of yoga classes connect flowing movements to breath, and barre classes introduce participants to muscles in the body they likely rarely use.

All yoga, barre, Pound workout and Pilates sessions are conducted barefoot, which allows exercisers to feel more grounded and in tune with their bodies. Indoor shoes are required for the studio's boot-camp classes and dance aerobics.
