Uptown Dance Studio is for anyone interested in learning to dance, or looking for a new rewarding activity or hobby, who has a desire for fun, good health, personal achievement, or social fulfillment. We offer group classes, private lessons and social parties for all ages. We specialize in all styles of partner dancing, but we also offer hip-hop, wedding dance instruction, contemporary, ballet, jazz and more.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

At Uptown Dance Studio, our mission is to inspire ordinary people to start expressing themselves through the power of dance. We are passionately committed to providing top-notch instruction that will help you achieve your personal dance goals. Studio Owner, Leilani Nakagawa, has hand-picked partners who strive to create a welcoming, fun and comfortable environment for students of all levels to learn in. We love what we do and we truly believe you will enjoy the process of learning to dance!

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

Check out our reviews on google! The most common reaction we get from students is an overwhelming excitement of how fun it is to dance and also relief that their dance goals are absolutely achievable.That reaction never get's old :)
