Beware! Everything about my experience at Hudson Valley Dental Arts was a nightmare. I was denied a cleaning, and I was told by the dental hygienist (!!!) that I had advanced gum disease, and that I needed almost 4 thousand dollars in dental work. She also told me I had 2 cavities and that I needed a night guard because I grind my teeth (I don't). She also said she thought I might have an auto immune disorder! I literally left in tears, but after a few hours, I had a gut feeling to get a second opinion. So I travelled 4 hours to see my former dentist who sadly is too far for me to regularly see since I moved. After giving me X-rays and a full examine, he confirmed there was absolutely nothing wrong with my teeth. My former dentist has a specialty certificate in Periodontics, and he confirmed I don't have gum disease or even gingivitis. I simply needed a cleaning! So essentially, I was going to get scammed 4k for the cleaning they were supposed to do in the first place. Stay away from this place!

Everyone in the office was very kind & Dr. Hamburg was professional & personable. He even smoothed down my two chipped/uneven front teeth at no extra charge. I had a great experience & highly recommend!

The staff and Doctor were charming and good to work with.
