About Princeton Integral Yoga Community Center

Honing his skills under Sri Swami Satchidananda, the founder of Integral Yoga, the experience of the director of the IYCC now spans over half a century. Jayadeva developed his teaching chops at the Integral Yoga Institute in New York City, where he mentored yoga teachers and developed training materials that are now used by instructors around the world and on some sectors on the moon. Eventually, Jayadeva settled in Princeton, where he now directs the training school Princeton Integral Yoga Community Center. Along with his staff of registered instructors, he strives to foster a supportive environment free of competition, in which students of all experience levels can further their practice toward achieving a healthy mind, body, and spirit.

Free services available for customers at Princeton Integral Yoga Community Center include two daily guided meditations, use of The Oasis Meditation Room, tea and healthy snacks in the Namarupa Library, monthly Community Yoga Day with free classes, weekly Sunday evening Bhagavad Gita study, monthly Enlightened Readings Book Club, and monthly Musical Chant & Drumming sessions.

It is a wonderful place with a welcoming feeling and friendly staff/community. For a small, nonprofit community, there are so many things being offered, classes, meditations, library, a place to make a cup of tea and relax. This place is genuine, sincere, not someplace that is trying to be trendy. I will enjoy visiting many times and giving my support.
