Great experience. Captain Kate knows where to find the whales and knows many of them by sight. Also nice to have a friendly and knowledgeable naturalist onboard to explain what we're seeing.

Amazing trip, we saw humpback whales, dolphins, otters, seals, birds and a shark! Our guide was informative and the captain was very nice. We would definitely book with them again!

I have been on many whale watching trips & this was the best. The boat is relatively small yet given the limited number of guests allowed per trip, distancing was safe & easy. Captain Kate & Eric the naturalist are both so knowledgeable & enthusiastic. Best of all, we saw many whales & 3 different kinds of dolphins. I will definitely be going out again with Blue Ocean.

Merchant accommodated rescheduling to a socially-distant whale watching trip after our trip earlier this year was cancelled due to Covid19. We saw 7 beautiful whales, lots of birds, sunfish, jellyfish, sea lions and sea otters. The guide team was friendly and knowledgeable. Boat was comfortable and plenty of room with reduced capacity to feel safe. I'd definitely go again.
