Alligator Bay Distillers, Punta Gorda

"Cane to bottle" is the motto at Alligator Bay Distillers. That's because brothers and founders Alex and Ben Voss are serious about producing traditional, hand-crafted rum. To do this they use pure Florida molasses sourced from a local sugar mill, which they later distill through pot and column stills to create their unique spirits.

• Dark Rum: Notes of toffee and butter give way to a rich, oak flavor, followed by a balanced and mature chocolate finish.

• Sun Gold Rum: Vanilla, honey, and oak accents lead into a woody butterscotch palate, topped with a pleasant and smooth honey aftertaste.

• White Rum: A clean sugarcane and floral nose introduce a silky body with flavors of melted sugar, which leaves a lingering trace of smooth vanilla.
