Eye Care Center, Raleigh

I didn't use the groupon. This was just a ploy to get me in there and get eye apt and then pay for frames since it was cheaper to use insurance and the other deal that they had going. I should have stood firm...and now have to go back anyway and use the 50 bucks towards glasses next time. I never should have purchased this groupon.

My experience started off with me waiting in the area for a little over an hour. The sign on the door said they were at lunch but didn't open till 45 minutes after what was stated. When I entered the facility, there was a lady and a small kid. The lady aploizged for her son but I saw no problem. That is until the small boy started running around spraying air freshener everywhere including right a me inches away. I asked the little boy nicely if he could reframe from soaking me and the lady did nothing. Lot only that but she was no help with helping me pick out glasses. I wanted to leave but didn't want to make the extra trip out this way for glasses. My friend I brought with me could not even stay inside because of the strong smell of the freshner spray. When i picked up the glasses weeks later, they did not fit correctly on my face. The lady(same lady ad before) had no clue how to adjust them. I aventually went to another eye care and they fixed my problem ammiditly. I would not reccommend this eye care center to anyone. The people working here are not trained properly and use the place as a day care.

II ordered progressive lens after being talked into it. The glasses didn't come in for over 3 weeks. I could not see anything. Took them back and they ordered single lens. They would not refund the $95 difference per policy. No one informed me of this policy beforehand. My wife called furious they were basically keeping the difference, she was told refund would go out in 48 hours. We were then called back and told never mind there will not be a refund. This is wrong. We paid 100 more than the lens cost. This is crooked and wrong!
