Rivertown Brewing Company, Cincinnati

We walked in, they seated the people who were waiting there when we walked in. We were then told it was a 30 minute wait because they didn't have enough silverware or menus. We were then put on the wait list and were the next ones in line. We asked if we could sit at the bar while we waited and were told no because there was also a wait list for the bar and again, no silverware or menus. I told her we didn't want to eat at the bar, just sit there and have a beer (after all, they are a brewery) and a different person said no because they can't transfer the tab to the table once we move. We offered to pay cash, but again, no. It was a manager's policy. If I didn't have this groupon, I would have left at this point. The only reason I gave them two stars is that the server was really good and very friendly. We gave her a good tip. I blame the issues on poor management. How do you not print up enough menus to get you through the weekend? Or have enough silverware clean?? Or allow your patrons to sit at the bar while they wait?

Our waitress waa amazing! She helped us with the menu and her food suggestions were on point! Our food was awesome!

Wonderful food. Love Rivertown’s beers as well. Will be back soon.
