About Richmond Fencing Club

Richmond Fencing Club has been in existence since the 1960s and at its present location since 2005. Our Club has been home to fencers and coaches who have gone on to compete in the Olympics, Veteran World Championships, numerous National and International events, and Coach Champion University and Olympic fencing teams. The Club is home to multiple national competitors, division champions, section champions, and a national point holder. Classes are taught in our >9600 sq. ft. permanent facility which include 9 electric strips, bathrooms and change room facilities

All ages may be welcome but you will not find all ages in these classes. I’m 54 and showed up with my 28 year old son and daughter-in-law. Determined to be good sports, we ran laps with 7 year olds. When they got out the agility ladder, we threw in the towel. It looks like a great place for small children but this class had zero appeal for adults. It cost the three of us $120 to find this out.
