The Original Caribbean Pot brings a taste of the islands to Chesterfield with an extensive menu of authentic Caribbean cuisine. In the entrees section, the Caribbean Pot trio stands out as one of the restaurant's top-selling dishes—the jerk chicken is prepared just as it would be in Jamaica: seasoned and char-grilled with essence of pimento. The chicken mingles with Jamaican-style pepper steak and oxtails that are glazed and slowly cooked in garlic, onions, and spinners (aka dumplings) to create a truly succulent dish. But the menu has plenty of vegetarian options, too, including an okra, cabbage, and callaloo entree, made using a recipe more secret than the password to the White House treehouse.
