Although I'm happy with the hair services I've been getting at this spa and I've been happy with massage services that I've gotten off and on over the past five years, I wasn't happy with the facial. The cosmetologist did an extraction and pushed too hard. I had a wound that took 5 days to heal, and the wound was very unattractive over those 5 days and worried me. I went in to the Aveda Spa two times to discuss it. The first time, the cosmetologist had left some acne treatment creme for me to use. It had salicylic acid in it. I didn't think that salicylic acid would be good to put on a wound. The second time I went in, I spoke to one of the co-managers. She gave me some good advice on caring for the wound, but she didn't offer me anything to compensate me for my worry about the wound or my embarrassment about the red blotch on my forehead. I would have preferred if she would have offered me some kind of coupon or voucher to compensate me.
