What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Many photographers focus on posing and lighting and technical stuff - anybody can do that. I focus on you. We chat and joke, and in 60 seconds, you already don't feel like you're at the dentist anymore! Making someone feel comfortable in front of the camera is how my most beautiful shots happen.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I was getting ready for a volunteer trip to a wildlife rehab center in Costa Rica, when I picked up a camera and took some classes. I didn't expect photography to be anything more than a fun hobby, but it quickly catapulted itself into a passion and a career!

What do you love most about your job?
I love people. I love learning about people's lives and telling little pieces of their stories in photographs. I love the look on your face when I show you a photo and you say, "Wow, that's me?!" I love how often new clients turn into new friends!

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
From a recent review: Amy was an absolute delight to work with. She was happy and laid back, making the process of taking pictures for the camera shy very comfortable. She easily got me laughing and was open to any ideas I had. Amy's ability to truly capture the moment with feeling is a rare gift.
