Samantha and Madison opened Flour Shoppe in May of 2015, since then these talented bakers and their chef have innovated new dishes and revived classics, curating a sweet and savory menu as inventive as it is nostalgic. When they're not keeping the glass case stuffed with pastries, bakers design everything from enticing cheesecake sandwiches to house-made english muffins. Meanwhile, chefs whip up breakfast, lunch, and brunch specialties that pop with curious flourishes, such as bacon jam, herbed aioli, and maple black pepper bacon. Popular dishes include the chicken salad sandwich, veggie burgers, salads, and quiche. Best of all, Flour Shoppe Cafe keeps its footprint small by sourcing products from local vendors such as Satur Farms, Hudson Valley Fresh, Hepworth Farms, and Stumptown Coffee.
