Nabacu Massage Centers, Rockville

The masseur was half a star better than average, but because I did not know that the massage service was to be preformed in a 'HOME office', so I didn't feel comfortable in the environment during the 60-minute service, and I don't think it was as relaxed as it should be.

Great service

The WORST experience ever! Short version: I left before getting my massage after waiting an hour. Groupon graciously gave me a refund (they are wonderful!), but I wish there was a way for this business to get nothing. Alas, the owner redeemed the voucher as soon as I walked in. Details: First, there was confusion about the date of my appointment. I know I asked for WEDNESDAY because that was the only day I could come. We repeated "February 25th at 11:00" several times, but she is hard to understand, and I'm wiling to allow that she was really saying "February 26th." When I arrived at 11:00, the office was locked with no lights on. I called her, and she said my appointment was for Thursday. I said I couldn't come Thursday; she said she would be there in 20 minutes. She arrived at 11:20 and let me in. I handed her the Groupon, and she said there would be a $10 tip. "That is the minimum. Massage is hard work." I questioned having to pay up front. I said I would pay afterward. The phone rang, and someone wanted to come right away (I could hear his part of the conversation). She said she had another appointment, but then she told him to come now. I wasn't sure how she was going to handle us both since my massage was for an hour. Then she brought a tub of hot brown water (supposedly filled with herbs that looked like tea bags) for me to put my feet in. In the waiting room. It is now 11:30, 30 minutes after my supposed appointment. The person who called comes in, and she takes him to a room right away. I thought maybe he was getting something quick, and she would soon come out for my massage. I continue to sit in the waiting room with my feet in the tub of brown water for another 20 minutes, pondering whether to get up and walk across the floor in my bare feet to find something to dry them with so I could leave. At nearly noon, a male employee arrives and comes over to dry my feet. He motions me to walk (barefoot across the waiting room floor) to a massage room where HE will give me my massage. I said no, my appointment was with the woman ("Apple"). He said he was a good massage therapist. At this point, I didn't care. "Apple" came out from the other customer, and I told her I would call Groupon to get a refund. I started calling before I left.
