An instructor meets students at ranges in the local area.

The Rentals

While it does not supply rentals directly, FirstShot negotiates special rates with local gun ranges for ammunition, safety gear, and handgun rentals. The instructor supplies targets for classes.

At a Glance

FirstShot, LLC's president and resident instructor, Eric C. Sands, holds NRA certifications in basic pistol, personal protection, home safety, and FIRST Steps courses. The latter aims to introduce people to handgun use for the very first time, though Mr. Sands can work with students of all levels. He also trains them privately and leads specialized workshops in topics such as pistol cleaning.

The instructor Eric was very informative and really knew his stuff. The class was great and the range time was even better. Definitely recommend this class to any beginner.
