A dancer's body is unmistakable—lean, strong, agile. That's the goal at London Barre, a barre-fitness studio that uses the original Lotte Berk method developed from the principles of ballet and yoga. But instructor Lisa Mozo—one of the few people on the continent certified to teach this method—takes a contemporary approach, jazzing things up with beat-heavy music and specialized transitional moves to accelerate heart rate and, in turn, burn fat. Under Lisa's guiding hand, students apply bodyweight resistance during flowing, targeted movements, working and sculpting the core, glutes, and even pelvic floor, all at a low intensity.
