I was new to a self service bakery and wasn't quite sure how to proceed but a very helpful employee, I believe his name was Benjamen, helped me out and explained how it worked. I must say, this young man's customer service skills are exceptional, he couldn't have been any more helpful or polite!

Never knew they had a Paris Bakery in the West Covina Plaza. So glad Groupon was able to introduce me to a great bakery.

Not very friendly with new customers! A helper/cashier told me "We don't usually allow customers to get pastries from the shelf" which I though is self service because trays and tongs are provided to get what you like off the shelf then pay just like what everybody was doing. There wasn't any sign that says "if you want pastries ask someone to help you"

Awesome pastries and the ambience of the store is great. The smoothies are very good, but a little pricey for the size.

There wasn't much of a selection. It was very loud. There was no chai tea, even though their menu listed it. Also, for a place with "baguette" in its name, there was an extremely limited selection of baguettes (there were 3 or 4 of one flavor and that's it).

From Our Editors

Tucked away in the kitchen of each Paris Baguette, bakers trained in French techniques craft buttery, flaky croissants and tart crusts, and their success at this has earned attention from the likes of the New York Times. In addition to pastries and sweets such as mocha rice balls, the bakers knead bread for their namesake baguettes and yeasty creations that hold an Asian twist, such as red-bean-paste-filled donuts. The experts also create fondant-cloaked cakes that venture beyond classic flavors into green tea, cappuccino, and sweet potato, delighting partygoers bored of the same laminated sheet cake that makes its appearance at each year’s birthday celebration.

To wash down these treats, patrons sip cups of java or more exotic drinks such as wheatgrass and black-sesame lattes, persimmon smoothies, and bubble tea. At lunchtime, many locations layer sandwiches, filling hungry stomachs with croque monsieurs and baguettes stuffed with chicken and pesto.
