Hotel Royal Oak, Royal Oak

We got there and they didn't have our reservation. We were exhausted and waited over 30 minutes for them to figure out we actually had a reservation. We had our groupon # and everything upon checkin. The room wasn't great and there was no hot water. The neighbours had us up with there yelling and partying until 3 am even though we called the front desk.. Never would we go back here.

Once the manager moved us, the room was much nicer and cleaner. The value of the Groupon was the best vaule for the buck.

Location was great. Room was clean. Desk agent Amy was very helpful. Will definitely stay again next time we're in the area.

It was a decent location and we loved the easy traveling. We didn't like the lack of amenities and the somewhat lacking support in the office. When we got our breakfast voucher (to use next door), the dinner told us that we couldn't use it. We had arrived almost an hour before the cutoff and the service took so long that we didn't pay until the exact cutoff. We felt like this should have been explained...since the voucher had no time limits posted on them. Overall, I think the location is great but we'll stay somewhere else next time.
