The owner was very nice, however, he wasn't there when I dropped my vehicle off at 7:45am, as requested. Someone else showed up about 15 minutes later. He was a bit irritated he had to help initiate the drop off. I never received an update on my vehicle all day (they said it would take 4-6 hrs) , so at 4:30pm I followed a link they had texted me, and when I requested an update through there, I received no response. I called the owner and he had to call me back. I arrived around 5pm, to a vehicle that all the windows inside and out were smeared with a dirty white film, spots all over them and a person named Jett definitely needs additional customer service training. She was irritated when I started pointing out some of the issues, like how smeared and dirty my dashboard was. Her comment: your car's old, it's faded, not dirty. I insisted she try wiping it and of course it was residue from their dirty towels and NOT fading. My car may be older, but it's well cared for and kept in the garage. I was super disappointed (too much to list) and decided to leave. They advertise this as a $300 full detail inside and out and this was the most basic detail I've ever gotten. Yes, they sell it for less, but you're not supposed to provide low level service. Advertise it as basic, as it's no where near a $300 detail. The outside, with exception of the wheels was worse than a drive thru car wash. They vacuumed the vehicle, I'll give them that. I had a friend come by and look at the carpeting and he confirmed my suspicion that they did not shampoo/steam the carpeting, like advertised. Jett said they never touch or clean the glovebox or center console, yet I found a dirty old pencil in there and asked here where this came from and she said she found it and put it in my center console. Honestly, I think they forgot about my SUV and then did a last minute quick job on it. I called the owner, Kumar, and he was nice, offering to redo whatever was wrong, himself. But I left them my SUV for 9 hours and was without a car. I live in a different city and didn't want to drive back to Royal Oak for a second attempt. I had to spend well over 4 hours basically re-doing everything, which was absolutely miserable, as I'm currently disabled. I use Groupon as a test run when trying new places. Unfortunately Jett was more focused on blaming the new guy for everything, and how busy she is and didn't have time to inspect any of his work, yet saying she was "training" him. Then neither Jett or the other guy that works there wanted to check me out, because I had a Groupon and said Kumar can do it later himself. After all of this nonsense, then..... they have the audacity to start sending me texts and emails asking for a tip!?!?! I tip well, very well.... when you actually do a great job, not when I have to redo all of your work. In my opinion, Kumar was the only professional and kind person at this place, but he's the owner and not the one doing the work, so try this place at your own risk. I will not be returning
