Jeanne Bootz Brown, the chief creative officer at Bootz Cultural Arts Center, started her career as a professional artist. But as her family began to grow, she found less and less time to devote to creating her own works. She gave private art lessons and taught community art classes, when she discovered that her passion had shifted from making to teaching. Over the last 20 or so years, she has opened her own studio where she works with kids and adults, exploring art techniques and styles from around the world.
