About The Burgess Brothers

In 2010, twin brothers Jonathan and Matthew Burgess showed off their cooking muscles in a food competition to so much fanfare that they decided to open their own restaurant two years later. Burgess Brothers Burgers has since become a huge hit in Sacramento—especially the homemade sauces, which are so popular that the siblings began bottling and selling them at local stores.

Looking at the menu, astute diners might notice that many of the menu items sport noble names. That's because the Burgesses are both active public service professionals. As such, they frequently support local law enforcement, firefighters, and emergency services through fundraisers and other charity efforts.

Went in to redeem my Groupon voucher and was told that they just DECIDED not to honor them anymore! Very poor customer service.

It's a food truck, the food is wonderful. The folks who work there are very nice and gave us additional dishes to try "on the house". We will definitely be back!

I took my mother in on a football Sunday around one oclock and they didn't have any tri tip, baked beans or collard greens. I ordered cornbread that I waited 15 minutes for and when I got home it was not fully cooked. The meat was well seasoned but the rather pricey plates don't come with sides. Lastly, I was disappointed that they no longer were accepting my Groupon.

They decided not to honor Groupon's anymore. I was told that I could use the $14 that I paid for the $20 voucher or ask for a refund from Groupon. Terrible customer service! They should have honored what they already agreed to and just not participated in Groupons anymore.
