Slowest services. Arrived with no one there, waited 10 mins before anyone greeted us, finally sat down and waited another 10 mins before waiter came for drink orders. We finally ordered our food, and after 35 mins of waiting, I asked where our food was. It wasn't busy at all so no reason for it. Asked for manager and was told the waiter forgot to put meals in to be made! When I asked for a compensation, he said he couldn't comp anything because that was their policy. So we decided to pack up and leave ourselves without our dinner or anything. It was a disgrace for sure!

Food was ok. Service was mediocre.
Also they have rules... you can't order alcohol drinks at your table, you have to go to the bar to get your alcohol, you have to pay the bar and food separate, you can't eat at the bar, Groupon not good for this and that on the menu.
Too many rules to follow.

Groupon is not good on Happy Hour items, Sashimi items nor scallop Teppan-yaki. ordered Steak Teppan-yaki medium rare, and it was more well done.....disappointed. Service was fine.

Get a Kareoke room during happy hour to test it out.

It was completely silent in the main lounge, so when the drunk people came out of the karaoke it was very awkward The quality of sushi wasn't the best

While flexible with giving us 2 full hours even though we were late (finding parking), we did not expect to be hit with a cleaning fee and extra charge when we had finished singing but had taken a photo in the room It was not made clear to us that the microphones needed to be returned in order for the time to be 'checked off' The room was not left badly - just a few glasses, a jug and a plate to pick up Perhaps a 'cleaning fee MAY be applied' dependent on the state of the room would be better If I had known we would need to pay the fee, I wouldn't have purchased the Groupon because of the extra hidden cost

Oishii Sushi Bar and Grill's name means "delicious," which is fitting when considering its delectable spread of Japanese maki, sashimi, and nigiri. The chef's specialties include the phoenix, a roll of king crab and avocado crowned with tuna, salmon, and yellowtail, and the oyster bay, whose deep-fried centerpiece is wrapped in soy paper and eel sauce. But what really sets Oishii apart is the Japanese-style karaoke performed in private rooms with door-to-door service. That means that if diners want to enjoy—or be part of—a dinner show, they can sashay past the main dining area and to private karaoke quarters.
