Dr. William Buhrman Jr.
A woman enters a chiropractic clinic, but she's not there to talk about a stiff back, a knot in her neck, or even sinus pressure. Just a short time before, the woman underwent a surgery that resulted in a clipped nerve, adversely affecting both her uterus and bladder. Recognizing that an adjustment would offer little relief, Dr. William Buhrman Jr. instead applies Avicenna laser therapy to encourage tissue regeneration. He soon receives a call from his patient, during which the woman tells him she's regained use of her bladder.
A second-generation chiropractor, Dr. Buhrman takes an integrative approach to structural care and rehabilitation, beginning with orthopedic and neurological evaluations to identify what treatment methods will most positively impact each patient's whole-body health. Dr. Buhrman then designs a care regimen, which may combine therapies such as massage, custom nutrition based on a gene SNP DNA screening analysis, and jetpacks that reduce the impact of walking.
