During classes at the welcoming studio, instructors Phaedra and Beverly bring students to a level of self-awareness so that they can listen to both mind and body in order to enhance core strength and breath control. Participants bend their bodies into traditional yoga poses and classic Tetris formations during gentle-flow classes or focus on centering through meditation and sitting postures during Kripalu-yoga classes. Beverly and Phaedra also conduct classes such as the yoga power hour—a session designed to build endurance, strength, and flexibility through 60 minutes of continuous vinyasa flow.
