About DEA Charters

Call him Backwards Columbus. In 2001, DEA Charters' captain David Wilson led a transatlantic voyage from Jacksonville, Florida, to Portugal—approximately the route Columbus took, albeit reversed and with an extra 500 years' worth of boating technology. During more typical times, though, Wilson sticks to the tropical waters of Southern Florida, using his world-explorer-caliber boating skills to helm private charter trips around St. Augustine. On sunset cruises on Wilson's 30-foot, solar-powered catamaran, for example, passengers watch the sky change colors and make champagne toasts. And on trips aboard the company's inflatable boat, passengers can even leave the open water to explore Florida's intracoastal waterways, canals, and novelty-sized bathtubs.

Crew and Boat (Semper Fi) were Awesome! As advertised snacks and drinks were provided and delicious. Very kid friendly 6, 8, and 9 year olds were safe and entertained throughout the trip.
