BlueDyer Distilling Co., Waldorf

Though new to the Maryland spirits scene, opening its doors in July of 2016, Blue Dyer has already started racking up awards. In 2017 it was honored with the silver medal at the American Distilling Institute's Annual Judging of Craft Spirits. Ryan Vierheller and Walker Dunbar founded Blue Dyer, in 2016 we both wanted to create something unique for those who are seeking different variants of liquors and give a memorable experience overall. One of our specialties are rum, whisky, bourbon, rye to gin, and vodka. Blue Dyer Distilling uses the same traditional techniques that have been in the owner's family for over 100 years. Each bottle of micro-distilled rum, whiskey, and gin is made by hand, ensuring every sip is smooth and bold.

A quick look at some beers on our menu: *Dark Rum: It incorporates a blend of freshly-charred caramel made from pure cane sugar, adding notes of sweetness and a slightly smoky finish to the spirit. 40% Alcohol included *Bourbon Mash Whiskey: Made of corn, rye grains, and the malted barley is needed to achieve the unique flavor of this traditional product.
