Tips

This was quite honestly one of the worst dining experiences of my life. We went to Copia to use our expired Groupon. At first they stated that they would be unable to honor an expired Groupon. We then notified them that even though the Groupon expired it can still be used for the amount that was originally paid. Then they told us it was only possible to take half of the Groupon price off of the bill because of the "computer". Finally after calling multiple managers/supervisors they were able to take off the full amount that we originally paid for the Groupon. When our bill was presented to us they had already filled in the tip section (we were not able to change it) for 20% off of the total amount, including tax. Yes, they made us give 20% tip of the after-tax bill. The bill total was $133.37 (after tax) and the waitress filled in the tip amount of $26.67. This ordeal took a long time to get settled. We were sitting at our table, completely done with our meal approximately 40 minutes, and we were the only table for our waitress (the entire restaurant was almost empty).

Good food and service. Would recommend going here.

Food was delicious. Server was new and seemed better suited for a Friday’s. Found some chards of glass in the bottom of my wine glass. Room lighting too bright and could see into kitchen. That was weird. Not very elegant atmosphere as we expected.

Unprofessional. Kitchen staff using profanity. Food was horrible. Service was terrible. I wouldn't go back for free.

There was only one waiter for the whole dining room, which had about 7 parties. We had to wait over 45 for our food and I had to send mine back. I never send food back. Bad experience, especially for a special occasion.

I have never experienced such horrible service and food. The waitress had to sit us, she took long to do that, she sat us and did not come back to the table for at least 10 minutes and the restaurant was not full. She took drink orders, that took 20 minutes. The food was not what it used to be 3 years ago. This was a horrible experience. Will not go back!

They were out of most wines. The table at the window where we sat had dead bugs. The Risotto was VERY salty. The place was empty at 6:00 PM on a Friday in Downtown. The waiter/bartender/greeter was very nice but his appearance was very questionable and off putting. I went to the Copia in Clayton and EVERYTHING was much different. They should just close the doors.
