National Blues Museum, Saint Louis

Be it pop, rock, country, or jazz, it's no secret that elements of blues can be found in every genre of American music. To that end, blues itself is a genre with an incredible history, and the National Blues Museum honors its many important moments and figures.

The museum boasts more than 15,000 square feet of blues-related material, including interactive technology, artifacts and traveling exhibits, and a 150-seat performance theater. It invites guests to explore the numerous styles of regional blues, and also to learn about the artists responsible for the music. What's more, the museum regularly hosts public programs like music performances, lectures, and films.
