Rex Nails, Saint Paul

Terrible experience at Rex Nails. Started with several calls to make required appt with no answer or voicemail to leave message requesting return call. I always get gel polish on my fingers as it lasts so much longer. That's extra $15, French extra $5. I say Ok, skip the gel polish, no French, but then she says it's going to cost an extra $5 because I have gel on already. Big communication issue, needing a translator to resolve (frustrated now) when looking for a color to match toes and finger nails. I show her one finger nail that is a little shorter than all others. After making sure it's not going to cost me $5, I ask for all to be same length as that one. She agrees, then proceeds to barely files a couple of nails. I say again, asking her if she thinks they look the same length, but she does not get it. I clip the remaining 9 nails, myself, to match the first one. I wish I could attach a pic of my nails. It's like there are a couple different thicknesses of the polish, with definite uneven color lines. In the end I paid $40 for a basic mani-pedi via Groupon. When I asked the Manager what it would've cost normally...$45. That means buying a Rex Nails Groupon saved me a whole $5....the Worst Groupon deal ever, in my opinion.

Pass. We had trouble scheduling, paint is everywhere on my fingers, nails weren't shaped well / rough edges. Had to wait 15 min even though we had an appointment. Took almost two hours for a mani pedi.

The guy I had was quiet. I don't like when they set and talk in another language.

didn't like the place, it didn't feel clean and it was a rush job
