Really nice people and obviously great cookies
Received phone call and said it was expired that I would have to pay for the cookie and I explained I was there the day before and already paid for it. I was only picking it up. When I went to pick up - was the wrong type of cookie and they had to remake which I picked up the following day, but when I went to pick it up, it wasn't decorated yet and had to wait a half hour to get it done. The cookie was good, but was a hassle to get it.

The cookie was so delicious and decorated adorably!
The mermaid Birthday Cookie was super cute! Tasted delicious!
Would have loved it if they spelled my daughters name correct!
Very friendly and helpful with my order!
I had no problem using my Groupon but my order was incorrect. The employee was friendly, took my order and repeated it to me. When I picked up my cookie cake it was decorated with the wrong colors. The employee at the counter didn’t apologize for the mistake. I needed the cookie and couldn’t wait for a new one. A little disappointed.
The staff was very friendly and very courteous. The cookie was delicious too! It was decorated just as I requested.
The cookie artist did an AMAZING job on our cookie. Awesome roller skates on the cookie!!! And the cookie tasted so great. Better than the grocery store cookie cake. I was REALLY happy with the cookie!!! Loved it. Thank you mid rivers ! Great job!!! I will definitely be back! We are not a cake family. We prefer the cookie cakes.
Keep in mind, the store applies an up charge when redeeming the cookie cake. Not what I expected. When asked why, the cashier had no idea but was not budging in asking for the additional charge. Also the 12 inch is the smallest size. Did not expect it to be so small. You get what you pay for. Was not happy with them asking for more money on top of the groupon amount.
From Our Editors
Armed with just a single, generations-old cookie recipe, Great American Cookies opened its first store in 1977, and the rest is history. Today, the franchise boasts locations in malls across the country and nabbed a coveted spot on Entrepreneur magazine’s 2012 list of Top 500 Franchises in the baked-goods category. The shop’s reputation grew, and so did its menu as chefs churned out a mouthwatering roster of gourmet-cookie recipes, each created and carefully tested in Atlanta. The tempting options now include snickerdoodle, peanut butter with M&M’s, and chewy pecan supreme, as well as freshly baked fudge and cheesecake brownies and cookie sandwiches stuffed with frosting. The real showstoppers, however, are the giant chocolate-chip cookie cakes, which can be customized with sweet, celebratory messages or shopping lists penned in colorful icing.
