Delicious meal! Can't wait to go back.
Service and food were great!
The food was excellent at lunch. The ambiance is very pleasant and the service excellent.
Delightful setting. Gracious staff. Excellent onion soup.
Our expectations had been met and exceeded. From our lovely server Diane, to the wine, soups, entrees and dessert. All simply put was devine. The portions are very good and prices just right. Our bottle of French Chardannay was the perfect compliment to our meals. Cordon Blue has a charming, peaceful, relaxing atmosphere with some great sunset views also. We will travel back here from Bradenton soon!

Welcoming staff, ultra-friendly service, intimate setting and great food!
From Our Editors
Chefs and co-owners David Weiss and Jean-Sebastien Kappler are trained French chefs. And not just trained in the French culinary tradition, but actually born and raised in France. That's why their bistro, Cordon Bleu, has such an authentic feel. When opening the restaurant, the chefs said it was important to them to re-create the warm and welcoming vibe of restaurants in their hometown of Alsace, where "there were tables filled with people spending hours talking, laughing, and sharing good food." The menu is not fussy; it is more reminiscent of simple dishes that French people would enjoy at home but with an eye toward restaurant-quality ingredients.
