The Crab Place in Crisfield, Maryland is where founder Greg Cain first got the idea to pack and ship fresh Maryland crabs better than the competition. That was in 1997, and his methodology's effectiveness has been proven by time and business growth. Now, The Crab Place ships seafood from every U.S. coast – from Alaska to Florida – and helps organize local seafood festivals. The robust business also provides Greg and his fellow owners with time to engage in the pursuits that inspired the business, as they now teach their children the art of crabbing.
