About Le Painted Grape

Signature service: Wine Glass Painting Classes

Reservations/Appointments: Required

Established: 2014

Staff Size: 2–10 people

Average Duration of Services: 1–2 hours

Pam Lester has spent her life as an artist, painting or designing floral arrangements, and teaching skills to other aspiring creatives. Eventually she noticed the profusion of wine and canvas painting classes that popped up around her, and, like any good artist, decided to creatively iterate on the idea. She founded Le Painted Grape, a mobile wine glass painting business that offers classes at local wine bars and restaurants.

Pam leads her pupils through customizing their wine glasses with simple, step-by-step lessons. She changes up the designs she teaches frequently. In the spring, for instance, she teaches students to paint their glasses as if they are opening flowers, with green stems, and petals that cup the bottom of the wine glass. She includes all necessary supplies in the cost of a class, and encourages guests to purchase wine at the venue.

The painting experience was great. I just didn't like the fact, we weren't made aware of the additional charges for the nibbles provided. We bought drinks and expected to pay for that but the other charges was an expensive surprise.

The woman running the paint night was nice enough, but very dis-organized. Additionally the paint and glasses used were like Dollar General quality; not worth the $$$ paid. Also this wine paint night had to wine?!
