This was my second visit to Great Room Escape. The first time? Amazing! We did Orient Express, and I would’ve given it 5 stars without hesitation. This time… well, let’s just say it was a very different story. We were booked for Anubis, but it wasn’t working, so we got moved to Terminal. And honestly? It felt like a train wreck. The room was messy, confusing, and several things didn’t work right. The first puzzle was so sensitive that everyone tried it multiple times before it finally worked. The second had us digging through actual trash (yes, gum included 🤢). There were multiple red herrings—one ate up a big chunk of time—and some puzzles required outside knowledge so niche we basically had to guess. Oh, and math. Lots of math. Without our phones, we wouldn’t have made it out. To top it off, one component didn’t work at all, so we missed that puzzle completely. The only bright spot? The staff member—super nice and helpful. So, zero stars for the room, five stars for them. I averaged it out to three overall because my first visit was great, but Terminal was easily the worst escape room I’ve ever done.

OMG, CRAZY SCARY! 5-star worthy despite us panicking for our lives in the great room escape's "zombie." You should 100% check it out along with their other rooms and attractions. Special thanks to Caleb, our terrifying zombie, Mack, our game master and gatekeeper, and Blaine, our axe throwing expert.
