The food and service was good. However getting the Groupon only saved me about 10 dollars. One entree costs min 35 dollars which does not include a side. I got the steak and shrimp. They both tasted amazing however the steak was only a 6oz steak for over 30 dollars. You can go to Saltgrass and get more for your money.

I had the salmon and it was way less than for $31 it was very dry. My husband had the filet and it wasn't very flavorful, very bland just a lump of meat. It was his birthday and they did not even offer a complimentary drink or cake. Will not be returning for the money go to Ruth Chris .

Really enjoyed Myron's. I've seen some reviews that were low because they said it wasn't clear. I disagree. You get a $50.00 voucher, you order at least 2 entrees, it's simple. No, it's not a cheap steakhouse but yes, it is worth the money if your wanting a nice meal with a great ambience.

Although the service was outstanding, the food is mediocre for the price.

This place is way over priced for the quality and taste of their food . I ordered their seafood Mushrooms to start off at 16.00 , plate came with 4 undercooked mushrooms , flavorless stuffing and a tiny shrimp on top ( to call it " seafood") at that point I wasn't too enthused about ordering but I did any way . I picked the chicken , literally a piece of chicken and a dab of creamed spinach about 40.00 . Nothing great , my chicken is better . Cheesecake Factory chicken is better! My husband got the steak about 4 oz almost 50.00 with 3 or 4 medium shrimp . He said it was good but nothing to die for . They give you a sloppy " wedge" salad prior which is really thick diced iceberg lettuce and dressing . Again not worth it . Ide say this place is trying to pull off fancy with its ambiance but falls short with flavor or lack there of on the food . This Groupon says dinner for two for 50.00 , thats not even dinner for 1 . I wouldn't complain if it was worth but it just wasn't . If you want to spend that kind of money and want the setting of a nice sit down , I would say go to Tower of Americas , enjoying the view and eat something worth the money spent .

From Our Editors

“Understated confidence comes through in everything from the clean lines of the modern, but not stark, interior to the relaxed, yet professional service, to the cuisine itself,” according to MySA food critic Edmund Tijerina, who especially enjoyed the bone-in rib eye and chocolate cake at Myron's Prime Steakhouse. The restaurant represents the culmination of more than three decades of study in the art and science of steak. After gleaning everything he could from successful steakhouses, owner Bill Been decided to open his own. In 2003, he and his wife founded Myron's Prime Steakhouse in a historic New Braunfels theater. Eight years later, they launched a second location in San Antonio, which earned the distinction as "Best Steakhouse in San Antonio" from the Destination Guide. Both supply the same USDA Prime steaks, which originate from corn-fed, Midwestern cows who cheer for the Wisconsin Badgers. Chefs handpick short loins and tenderize them with a wet-aging process, and dry-age other steaks to enhance their meaty flavors. Side dishes such as stuffed tomatoes with chives in gorgonzola cheese complement the steaks they accompany.
