Very poor communication. Event was cancelled/rescheduled without notification that venue had changed from Fullerton (Orange County) to 61 miles from my home in San Bernadino! I only learned 5 days AFTER booking my seats when I got the e-mail link to print my tickets. Company also charges a per-ticket Groupon redemption fee.

We purchased the tickets hoping to see the play Rent showed up only to find the performance had been cancelled with no notice just a note on the Theater door. Rescheduled for another night only to now find out the performance has been moved to another venue that is too far for us to travel poor communication all the way around with the provider and Groupon. They seem to want to blame Groupon for not notifying us.

I don't have a problem with "RENT" I do however have a problem with the customer service I encountered trying to reserve seating for the event. First the play was going to be in Fullerton on September 27 at 8pm it was cancelled-I found this out the night of the event. They posted a note on the box office window saying cancelled sorry for the inconvenience-no wonder the few days before when i was trying to call it kept saying box office is NOT available. Then I get an email from groupon saying it was rescheduled for November 15 at the same venue. Great right?? WRONG when I call to reserve my 2 seats I was told id be better off paying extra to get better seats and the man I spoke with would email me a seating chart so he did and it says the san Bernardino- when I asked is this play not in fullerton? he said no its ONLY in san Bernardino-well that's 50+ miles from fullerton. so I said well I wont be able to go that far and he said well you should try and make it its a nice play and besides groupon is giving people a hard time for refunds. so if I dint want to come then just give the tickets away. he was very rude. when iw as hanging up he said good luck and kind of chuckled. to me this whole thing was numerous people dropping the ball. when I was emailing back and forth with groupon I was told wrong info and then dealing with the reservations department I felt he was totally unprofessional and just outright RUDE. I can say I have bought other groupons and NEVER received such service. this seems to be an isolated incident but i wanted to let you know the service I received was less than adequate. thanks for your time.
