It was called San Diego BBQ Fest! There was a few BBQ stands. Beer, Whisky and Tequila samples were great! The BBQ sample was a toothpick of chicken! nOt much of a BBQ Fest! For the VIP price, it's not worth it! Lines were very long for a small sample. You'll end up spending more money on food. $13.00 for a small plate of Korean BBQ and rice. $5.00 for a corn. False advertising and NOT Worth it!

Despite the event description, there were almost NO food samples. We got bites of vegan potato curry and cornbread - everything else was out of pocket. HUGE lines for everything. All the drink samples ran out too. Would not go again or recommend.

Terrible location, long lines and not very many vendors. We went in and left. Total waste of money

You have to pay for food inside. There is only 3 beer vendors and the lines are 15 to 30 min. It's a rip off

The website was completely misleading. It wasn't what i expected. There was more alcohol than food tasting which was a big bummer since I'm pregnant. I left after 30 minutes.

Great idea, beyond terrible execution. I'm not sure why they even bothered offering tickets to this in the first place. The admission ticket got me into the venue where I stood in line to purchase food from a food truck. The "samples" promised on the website were ridiculous (one tiny piece of barely cooked chicken on a toothpick...really?) and required standing in long lines. There were two beer samples (long lines for about 2oz of Budweiser) and a juice truck, but overall this was one of the most disappointing and poorly executed events I have ever been to. I ended up leaving after standing in two separate lines for two barbecue sliders (which I paid for) and what amounted to about a taster of beer, all while suffering through the thumping of a terrible DJ. I would definitely think twice before attending another "event" by Elite Events. This was a horrible experience and very disappointing.
