Pinch is a fully operational ceramic studio located within downtown San Diego, CA., specializing in one-on-one private pottery lessons for both children and adults. One-off wheel throwing lessons, multi-week pottery courses, studio memberships, drop in studio time etc. are all available! The private setting allows for an in depth look at ceramics, not often found within large group settings. Students move at their own pace, with instruction tailored to meet their particular goals and interests!

Such a great experience--the instructor was warm, kind, funny and supportive. I've taken intro classes before and this was definitely th best experience, where I felt like I was given a lot of attention and useful tips. My piece turned out wonky (my fault--tried to get it a teeny bit taller lol) but the finishing and glazing the studio did makes it actually look like something I'm proud to display. 12/10, would definitely recommend.

Did this on a date night, and I really enjoyed my first try at pottery. There was something relaxing about the clay in my hands, and spinning the wheel. Dannia was a patient, and very skilled instructor. I look forward to doing this again!
