Anatomy Day Spa and Boutique, San Diego

As I arrived to my appointment, I was not greeted by the staff. I advised the staff I had booked a couple's massage, and they apologized and said our room had been double booked. Before booking my appointment, I mentioned I purchased a Groupon, and wanted to make sure I could redeem it for a couple's massage. I was assured it would be accepted. The receptionist mentioned the cost of the massage was $120 and the Groupon had a value of $100, so I would pay the difference, plus gratuity of course. After the 1 1/2 hour massage, I proceeded to pay, and the young lady at the front desk said the Groupon was not valid because there were two of us ( I clearly stated we wanted a couple's massage.) The person in charge tried to apologize, and then redirected the blame on me! I think they are lacking customer service skills. I was charged as two individuals (for a couple's massage) and was given somewhat of a break, according to the receptionist. She asked if that was okay, and I said no. Unfortunately, this was not a pleasant experience for me, and I will not be returning to Anatomy. I was not satisfied with the way they conduct their business.

Using the Groupon with this facility was rip off I wasn't even given the full value of my purchase!!

The only thing little thing I was a little upset with, was that my boyfriend and I got a couples massage and I made sure to request females, however when I got there they said they only had one female and one male.
