Everyone's had the dream: you're soaring above some beautiful ocean or mountain range, seeing the world with a vantage point normally only afforded to birds or sightseeing superheroes. That vision is made real at San Diego Parasailing Adventures, where captains licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard have been helping people fly for more than 25 years. Up to three passengers can parasail at a time, with each flight lasting up to 8 minutes during the hour-and-a-half excursion. All parasails are winch direct, meaning you take off and land from the boat, thus cutting out the unnecessary step of having a pelican carry you back down in its beak.
