Entrepreneur turned coupon baron Mohammed Malik created the Deal Deck as a way for his customers to explore the restaurants and coffee shops of their city, as well as a method for delivering a shot in the arm to local economies. Deal Decks contain 52 card-size coupons, each worth $10 off at 52 locally owned restaurants, totaling more than $500 in savings. As consumers deal each card at previously undiscovered pizza joints, Cajun eateries, Irish pubs, and Indian restaurants, they not only expand their palate, but help small businesses stay healthy and vibrant during all economic climes.
