Doré Studio is the oldest photography studio in San Francisco. Founded in 1951 by the mother of the current proprietor, the studio specializes in capturing life’s most important moments through modern digital imaging technology and a sense of old-school glamor. A vein of 1930s Hollywood runs through the in-house productions here, where divas lay on the divans as makeup artists prep them as if for a would be screen test. The studio also provides tuxes and formal wear for guys. Be it senior portraits, quinceañeras or nostalgic re-enactments of grainy, sepia-toned photos, Doré shows its clients in the best possible light.
