From Our Editors

Tareq Azim specializes in physically preparing people for combat. That includes military combat—he's a Military and Law Enforcement Special Ops Instructor—and athletic forms of combat—he's coached the Oakland Raiders and the Cincinnati Bengals in their off-seasons. At Empower, he and his team help anyone who walks through their doors to hone their sparring abilities, which, in turn, helps improve physical fitness. During kickboxing training sessions, the instructors teach offensive and defensive techniques, all the while emphasizing that fighting is both physical and mental, especially if you're fighting a giant brain.
