For the Day of Zen, park in the all day parking next to the Caltrain parking for $3...just a block away. Bring change for the machine. Downtown Burlingame is a very quaint area of stores, restaurants and coffee shoppes. Come before or stay after. The neaby Burmese Restaurant is delicious. I want to come back and eat at Plant. BTW the Day of Zen experience with Paolo was extraordinary. He is very skilled and creates an incredible experience, I was hesitant to do the traditional Thai massage...but I am so glad I took the risk. Wonderful. I think this massage and reflexology will last for weeks to come. The ripple effect.....

Great massage! No consultation prior to massage but they ask you to fill out form for any special attention or body parts to avoid. They require you to change in loose pants and t shirt, which they'll provide. Over all, it was a great experience

From Our Editors

Project Zen aims to provide a serene sanctuary where clients can complement Western medicinal regimes with Eastern healing practices that coordinate internal harmony with preventative massage services. Stepping inside the spa, clients will notice its rich red tapestries and bright gold pillows, which exude an opulence matched only by drinking red wine out of a solid gold sippy cup. Project Zen, like its sister spa in Thailand, pampers patrons and aims to improve their overall wellness with treatments such as Japanese shiatsu, a brand of acupressure involving languid thumb, palm, knee, and feet strokes. In addition, an in-house line of bath and body products blended from coconut oil and flowers are used during deep-tissue and Swedish massages.
