Food was fresh, well prepared; service was thoughtful and very professional!
Amazing experience & great food and very good service. 👍🏽👍🏽
Groupon did not disclose that Roy's offered a separate menu for Groupon diners that was not up to par with the rest of their menu. The futomaki roll was off color...the rice was dark due to the shitaki mushrooms, the salad was limp and no flavor - they used sub par ingredients. They offered a hamburger on their menu. Overall the meal was crappy. Sent a review to Roy's to tell them what a disappointment the meal was. We have been to Roy's on all the Hawaiian islands and have had many celebrations at the SF location but I will never go back there with or without a Groupon and will recommend to our friends and family not to gt a Groupon for this place. FYI...the Izzy's Steakhouse Groupon is a 100 times better.
Bought this groupon to celebrate my youngest sister's birthday with parents. We had great experience having the 3 courses. Thanks to Ray's great service.
it was great! loved the food, esp the whitefish
Food, ambience, service was all EXCELLENT. This is totally worth it!
We used our Groupon and we're limited to a separate "VIP" menu but the food was excellent, as was the service. Wish we could have tried the Butterfish!
Great food as always and no issues at all using the Groupon.
Yummmmmmmmm great service luv luv luv them
Excellent service and great food
From Our Editors
Born in Tokyo, Roy Yamaguchi experienced his first taste of seafood while visiting his grandparents in Maui. He was instantly hooked: that first taste inspired what Roy wanted to do with his life.
Roy grew up to be a James Beard Award-winning chef and a visionary in the culinary world. He blended European techniques and Pacific Rim cuisine into what is now known as Hawaiian fusion, which he dished out at the first Roy's Restaurant in Honolulu in 1988. Today, there are Roy's locations all over the world. At each one, local chefs put their own spins on Roy's vision.
